With a 99% strike authorization vote, Temple University Graduate Students’ Association (TUGSA) is ready to strike. Show solidarity by:
- Signing TUGSA’s petition for fair pay; and
- Contributing to TUGSA’s strike fund.
TUGSA has been in negotiations with Temple U. administration since January 2022 and has been without a contract since February 2022. Temple administration has refused to discuss the majority of TUGSA’s proposals and claim that they are unable to offer average raises higher than 3% over the next four years. Yet Temple U. made record profits since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, totaling $238 million last year alone, and received record-breaking amounts of philanthropic donations.
