Officials from the Florida Office of Policy and Budget, under Gov. Ron DeSantis, have requested information about gender-affirming care at the University of Florida and at least 11 other Florida universities. The information requested includes details on anyone who has received gender-affirming care through campus health services since 2018 and the type of care received.
