Teamsters Local 2010 is conducting an unfair labor practice strike Feb 17-20 at 22 California State University campuses and the Chancellor’s Office in protest of numerous unfair labor practices committed by the CSU. The 1,100 Skilled Trades Teamsters have worked hard and sacrificed to keep the CSU running through the pandemic and beyond, yet CSU has refused to honor step increases and their contractual obligations.
CSU has committed numerous unfair labor practices, including failure to pay our contractual July 2025 raises, bargaining in bad faith and distributing anti-union communications. Before our current contract, CSU denied workers regular step increases for 28 years, leaving many workers stuck near the bottom of their pay range after decades of service.
