A graduate worker in Taubman was detained by ICE on Wednesday. He is currently being held in North Lake Detention Center in Baldwin, Michigan. His detention was avoidable and is a direct result of several failures and problems within the college’s hiring practices and lack of financial transparency.
A letter of support from Taubman College guaranteeing student status is crucial and needed immediately for the graduate worker to be released on bond.
