HBCU Organizing Strategy Session | Morning of November 7
HBCU leaders will come together to move from conversation to action.
We will:
- Identify HBCU campuses with organizing opportunities.
- Map existing unions, worker organizations, campaigns, and relationships.
- Identify shared organizing priorities for the next six months.
- Build stronger connections between HBCU workers and leaders.
- Develop concrete next steps and identify leaders who want to help grow the network.
Beyond Atlanta
The goal is not another one-time meeting. We are building a network that can help HBCU workers organize, support each other’s campaigns, develop new leaders, share strategies, and build worker power across HBCUs.
Hosted in partnership with Higher Education Labor United (HELU), Morehouse AAUP, and AAUP-AFT Local 6741.
