Colorado Residents! Tell your Representatives and Senators to vote NO on SB26-193
Colorado lawmakers should reject SB26-193, a bill that would exempt public employers from local minimum wage laws and lower wages for tens of thousands of public workers across Colorado. This bill is not a “clarification.” It is a brand-new exemption that strips rights and wages from workers who already have legal protections under existing law. Public workers are already struggling through one of the worst affordability crises in modern Colorado history. SB26-193 would make that crisis worse.
