City College of San Francisco is a gem of California public education. Right now its faculty need your support.
City College has been overdeducting from faculty paychecks for OPEB (retirement funds) for years from hundreds of faculty in a clear case of wage theft. When the faculty union AFT 2121 brought this issue to the administration’s attention, CCSF Chancellor Martin refused to acknowledge the error and is now devoting precious school funds to fighting the faculty union in arbitration.
Chancellor Martin’s refusal to address this problem is a reckless misuse of public funds and a slap in the face to the counselors, teachers, and librarians who make City College run.
Urge Chancellor Martin and City College leaders to end this flagrant wage theft by signing this petition and sharing widely!
