From our colleagues at American Federation of Teachers Local 2067 at the Community College of Allegheny County:
The American Federation of Teachers Local 2067 at the Community College of Allegheny County is engaged in a contentious contract negotiation over fair compensation, benefits, and working conditions. In support of that effort, they are hosting a Fair Contract Rally this Saturday, September 26 at 1 PM at CCAC Allegheny campus, 808 Ridge Ave. on the North Shore. The Rally will take place during CCAC’s 60th Anniversary Homecoming Celebration that runs from noon-7pm.
Please join them on Saturday to hear powerful speakers, including Labor Council President, John Galuska, layout exactly why they deserve a fair contract.
To make sure you don’t miss a minute they recommend planning for an early arrival as Pitt will be playing around the same time at Acrisure (Heinz) field. View the CCAC Homecoming festival page for more information, including all-important parking information.
